Belize IBC Act
The Belize IBC Act (repealed and replaced by the Belize Companies Act, 2022) was introduced in 1990 to implement competitive offshore legislation for former Belize IBC’s. Belize currently offers one of the most competitive and attractive offshore corporation laws in the world, in conjunction with offshore trust legislation, robust secrecy provisions and a competent offshore services sector.

A Belize business company is now required to file an annual return which details the directorships and shareholdings of the entity.
